2 cups sugar
1 3/4 cups Karo syrup
pinch salt
3 cups heavy cream (add 1 cup cream and set aside 2 cups for later)
2 cubes unsalted butter (1 cup)
Mix and bring to boil. Boil for 10 minutes.
Slowly add remaining 2 cups cream stirring constantly. Boil over medium heat until 234 degrees. Pour into heavily buttered 9 X 13 pan. Cool overnight. Slice into pieces and wrap in wax paper. Enjoy!
